I have been teaching this prospecting idea for over 10 years, and have received countless number of testimonies from people who have used it and created great local prospects for their business and or products.

At the end of October all over America children will be Trick-or-Treating. That means that on the appointed night, kids will be knocking on your door with the famous words TRICK OR TREAT. Of course you give them a treat and wait for the next parade of ghost, goblins and supper hero’s to make their way to your door.

Here is the simple technique. When you drop the treat in the bag include your drop card. There is no question that the absolute best type of drop card to place in the bag is a $100 bill card. (Info at http://www.CMGPromotions.com)

Get this picture. Children come home from there night out and what is the first thing that happens? In most homes the kids dump all their treats on the kitchen table for the parental inspection process. Unfortunately in today’s world this is a very necessary step but imagine the attention a $100 bill lying on the table will receive during this ritual!

All I can say is that this technique works and will create hits to your website or calls to your sizzle line! I have some clients now that have friends and relatives in different neighborhoods include their drop cards with their treats.

No 1 – You cannot succeed alone.
The more people you HELP MAKE MONEY, the more money YOU will make.

No 2 – You cannot earn promotions alone.
The more people you help earn promotions, the more promotions you receive.

No 3 – A leader always works for his people.
Your people never “work for you.”

RULES IN THE ‘PUSHING UP PEOPLE’ CONCEPT:

No 1 – Put yourself ‘last’…
Don’t talk about what “I” want.

No 2 – Never ask your people to work hard so you can win a promotion, contest, etc.
Example – Never have a contest so you can get a promotion, win a trip, etc… Always have an attitude of helping your people get their promotion and then their success will help you get YOUR promotion!

No 3 – Never be more concerned about your paycheck – be more concerned about their income.

No 4 – Never make a management decision based on how it affects your income…
Always do what’s best for your people!

No 5 – Never do anything that would give your people a reason to think you are trying to hold them back.
Example – Always look for a way to give your people credit for something so they can earn a promotion.

Over and over I see PANIC MANAGEMENT destroy more careers than almost anything I know of. There are three WEAKNESSES that cause a leader to panic.

NO 1 – Lack of Activity
This is a numbers business.

NO 2 – A poor personal financial situation
It’s not how much you make, but how much you keep that counts.

NO 3 – No definite system
You must have a system.

You must take care of No 1 and No 2 “all by yourself.” (No one can help you.) But if you MASTER THE PRINCIPLES in How to Win, you will never be forced to panic because you will have “The Best System.”

The Magic of “90 Days”…By A.L. Williams

“You can do anything for 90 days.”

There are two types of goals:

No 1 – Long-Term Goals

These are always your FIRST GOALS. For example: financial independence or becoming an RVP. These are the goals that give you direction and motivation.

No 2 – Short-Term Goals

It normally takes a long time to accomplish your long-term goals and it’s tough to stay motivated for one year or five years or even ten years.

But you can do anything for 90 days.

Setting short-term goals, like 90-days goals, gives you a “sense of urgency” and day-to-day motivation to keep moving toward your big goals.

I built my career on a series of 90-day commitments. I believe you can CHANGE YOUR LIFE in 90 days. Most people stay at something ALMOST LONG ENOUGH, but they STOP LONG ENOUGH to LOSE all their MOMENTUM. If you work like mad for 90 days, you will reach a NEW HIGH in your business life. This new high will give you the CONFIDENCE and COURAGE to “Go For It” again and again until you WIN!

Work like “mad” for 90 days.

Don’t get “too high” or “too low.”

Things are never as good or as bad as they seem at the moment.

Don’t “stop” for any reason.

Review your results only after 90 days. (You can’t look at management on a day-by-day basis. Management results come after weeks of paying the price. You grow out of periods of plateaus.)

At the end of 90 days, “recommit” for another 90 days with new and greater goals or “get out” of this business.

Reward and Punish

In order to reach your goals, you need to reward yourself when you do good and punish yourself when you do badly.

A Personal Example

The program of goal setting I used when I was coaching football is an example of the process above.

Long-term goal: Becoming state champions

Short-term goal: Improving with every game until the team became state champions.

If we won and had a great game…great offensively – win by more than 21 points…great defensively – win and defense held opponent to no points, we REWARDED ourselves with a short practice with no pad on Monday.

If we won but DIDN’T HAVE A GREAT GAME…won, but not by 21 points OR won, but other team scored, we PUNISHED ourselves with a long practice with pads on Monday.

If we got beat…we ADDED A DAY and had full practice on SATURDAY.
